Our School

Welcome to Herman Street Public School (HRM) where our mission is "We are here to make good things happen for other people!"

Our school is located in a residential community in the town of Petawawa, ON not far from Base Petawawa. Our school has approximately 400 JK-6 students. We provide a bilingual JK/SK Kindergarten program where students receive instruction in French one day and instruction in English the next. Our Grade 1-6 programming offers both an English program with daily core French as a Second Language or a French Immersion Program where students receive 60% French Language Instruction and 40% English Instruction daily. Families choose to send their children here because of the caring dedicated staff, academic programs and community-minded environment that makes Herman Street, home of the Herman Hornets where we thrive in the Hive!
